Dr. James Kalpaxis received his B.A. in Chemistry at Princeton University. He subsequently completed his M.D. at University of Virginia School of Medicine.
After finishing a residency in Family Medicine at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics the doctor completed a residency in Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Following his residency, the doctor completed a fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis at Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
For over three decades, Dr. Kalpaxis has served Austin as both an ocular immunology specialist and general ophthalmologist.
In addition, the doctor practices at hospitals throughout the Austin area such as St. David's, Seton, and Dell Children's.
